To better service our customers, XL supplies a wide range of quality grades specific to our branded programs.
The majority of our sales are done through the “XL Meats” Brand containing Canadian ‘A – AA – AAA” grades, trimmed and packaged according to our customer’s requirements.
“The Original Alberta Beef” program is served at some of the finest hotels in Canada featuring “AAA”. Developed in 1994 this was one of the first programs of its kind in the world. Centered around the consumers concerns about where their beef came from "The Original Alberta Beef” program was created to supply a consistent, high quality, safe beef program.
Utilizing Western Canada’s large Beef Cow herd XL has developed a quality
Fed Cow program called “GL Select”.
